The views and local attractions are endless in Perthshire near and far. There's local fishing and although we haven't actually had the opportunity to go yet I'm told that the best fishing is just a couple of miles up the road at Loch Rannoch.
Just a short drive (or cycle) down the road is Queens View.
There is something for everyone in Perthshire and as the list is endless I have added some links that you may find useful.
I'd recommend the Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre in Comrie, it's a bit of a drive away but fantastic for the kids and you could easily spend the whole day there and the food is gorgeous all locally sourced and grown.
The Loch Tummel Inn which you will pass on the way to Tummel Valley has the most spectacular views and a warm, friendly and tranquil atmosphere with simlple as well as very sophisticated food including Haggis in filo pastry with an ‘Irn bru’ chili jam and pickled neeps - don't you just love Scotland!!.
